yó rāyó’vánir mahā́nt supā́raḥ sunvatáḥ sakhā́ | tásmā índrāya gāyata ||
Translation
จงขับสรรเสริญพระอินทระ—พระองค์เป็นผู้คุ้มครองและพิทักษ์ความมั่งคั่ง (rāyáḥ) อันยิ่งใหญ่ เป็นผู้นำข้ามที่มั่นคง (supāráḥ) เป็นสหายของผู้คั้นโสมะ (Soma) ดังนั้นจงขับร้องแด่พระอินทระเถิด
