वरुणः प्राविता भुवन्मित्रो विश्वाभिरूतिभिः । करतां नः सुराधसः ॥
Transliteration
varuṇaḥ prāvitā bhuvan mitro viśvābhir ūtibhiḥ | karatāṃ naḥ surādhasaḥ ||
Translation
ขอวรุณะ (Varuṇa) จงเป็นผู้คุ้มครองนำหน้าแก่เรา; ขอมีตรา (Mitra) จงกระทำเพื่อเราด้วยความเกื้อกูลทั้งปวง—โอ้สองเทพผู้ให้ทานอันดี—เพื่อให้เราตั้งมั่นอย่างอุดมในฤตะ (ṛta) และถึงความอิ่มเอมเป็นสุข.
