आ नोऽवोभिर्मरुतो यान्त्वच्छा ज्येष्ठेभिर्वा बृहद्दिवैः सुमायाः । अध यदेषां नियुतः परमाः समुद्रस्य चिद्धनयन्त पारे ॥
ā́ no ’vóbhir marúto yā́ntv ácchā jyeṣṭhébhir vā bṛháddivaiḥ sumāyā́ḥ | ádha yád eṣāṃ niyútaḥ paramā́ḥ samudrásya cid dhánayanta pāré ||
โอ้มารุตทั้งหลาย จงมาหาเราพร้อมด้วยความเกื้อกูลของท่าน—ไม่ว่าจะมากับเหล่าผู้อาวุโส ผู้ส่องประกายกว้างใหญ่ ผู้ชำนาญในศิลป์อันงาม. เพราะเมื่อพลังที่เทียมแอกแล้ว (niyut) อันสูงสุดของพวกเขา ยังพิชิตได้แม้ ณ ฝั่งไกลโพ้นของมหาสมุทร เมื่อนั้นฤทธานุภาพย่อมประจักษ์; ขอให้ฤทธิ์นั้นมาถึงที่นี่เพื่อการเดินทางของเรา.
