द्यौर्नः॑ पि॒ता ज॑नि॒ता नाभि॒रत्र॒ बन्धु॑र्नो मा॒ता पृ॑थि॒वी म॒हीयम्। उ॒त्ता॒नयो॑श्च॒म्वो॒३र्योनि॑र॒न्तरत्रा॑ पि॒ता दु॑हि॒तुर्गर्भ॒माधा॑त्

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 9.10.12

dyáur naḥ pitā́ janitā́ nā́bhir átra bándhur no mātā́ pṛthivī́ mahī́yam | uttānáyoś camvòryónir antáratrā pitā́ duhitúr gárbham ā́dhāt ||

Heaven is our Father, begetter, and here our navel; our kinsman: Earth, the mighty, is our Mother. Between the two outstretched bowls is the womb; there the Father hath deposited the embryo of the Daughter.

ฟ้าคือบิดาของเรา ผู้ให้กำเนิด และที่นี่คือสะดือของเรา เป็นญาติของเรา; แผ่นดินผู้ยิ่งใหญ่คือมารดาของเรา. ระหว่างภาชนะสองใบที่กางออกหงายขึ้นนั้นคือครรภ์; ณ ที่นั้นบิดาได้วางตัวอ่อนของธิดาไว้.
