Sukta 78
अ॒भि व॑र्धतां॒ पय॑सा॒भि रा॒ष्ट्रेण॑ वर्धताम्। र॒य्या स॒हस्र॑वर्चसे॒मौ स्तामनु॑पक्षितौ
abhí vardhatāṃ páyasā́bhí rāṣṭréṇa vardhatām | ráyyā sahásravarcasémáu stām ánupakṣitau ||
Let them increase with milk; let them increase with dominion. With wealth, with thousandfold splendour—may these two abide undiminished.
ขอให้ทั้งสองเจริญงอกงามด้วยน้ำนม; ขอให้ทั้งสองเจริญงอกงามด้วยอำนาจแห่งรัฐ/อาณาจักร. ด้วยทรัพย์สมบัติ ด้วยรัศมีพันเท่า—ขอให้ทั้งสองนี้ดำรงอยู่โดยไม่เสื่อมถอย
