Sukta 63

वर्चोबलप्राप्तिः। यत् ते॑ दे॒वी निरृ॑तिराब॒बन्ध॒ दाम॑ ग्री॒वास्व॑विमो॒क्यं यत्। तत् ते वि ष्या॒म्यायु॑षे॒ वर्च॑से॒ बला॑यादोम॒दमन्न॑मद्धि॒ प्रसू॑तः

yát te devī́ nírṛtir ābábandha dā́ma grīvā́sv avimokyàṃ yát | tát te ví ṣyāmy ā́yuṣe várchase bálāyā́do mádam ánnam addhí prasū́taḥ ||

What bond the Goddess Nirṛti hath fastened on thee—a cord upon the neck, a bond not lightly loosed—this same for thee I sunder, for life, for splendour, for strength. Eat thou this gladdening food, sent forth (to renewed being).

【เพื่อให้ได้รัศมีและพลัง】พันธนาการที่เทวี นิรฤติ (Nirṛti) ผูกไว้แก่ท่าน—เชือกที่คล้องคอ เป็นเงื่อนที่คลายได้ไม่ง่าย—ข้าพเจ้าขอแก้และตัดให้ท่าน เพื่ออายุยืน เพื่อรัศมีเดช (várchas) เพื่อกำลัง. จงกินอาหารอันชื่นบานนี้เถิด อันถูกส่งมาเพื่อให้ท่านกลับคืนสู่ความเป็นอยู่ใหม่อีกครั้ง.
