(มนต์นี้) ทำลายศัตรูได้ จงเปล่งวาจาของท่านไปยังอัคนี (Agni) ก่อน—ผู้เป็นโคผู้แห่งหมู่ชน; ขอให้ท่านพาเราข้ามพ้น เหนือผู้เกลียดชังทั้งหลาย.

यो रक्षां॑सि नि॒जूर्व॑त्य॒ग्निस्ति॒ग्मेन॑ शो॒चिषा॑ । स नः॑ पर्ष॒दति॒ द्विषः॑
