Homage be unto those dread Rishis, whose eye is keen, and whose mind is truth. Homage to Bṛhaspati, O mighty, radiant One; homage, O Viśvakarman: homage to thee—protect us.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (ṛṣi not securely determinable from the single verse alone).
Devata: Ṛṣis (as powerful beings), Bṛhaspati, and Viśvakarman.
Chandas: Mixed/irregular; predominantly Anuṣṭubh-like cadence with prose-like expansions (needs full-sūkta metrical audit).
Primary: shanta
Secondary: bhayankara
