Sukta 33
hṛ́dayāt te pári klómno halī́kṣṇāt pārśvā́bhyām | yakṣmáṃ mátasnādhyāṃ plī́hno yáknas te ví vṛhāmasi
From thy heart, away from thee; from the klóman, from the hālīkṣṇa, from either flank— The yakṣma from the lower trunk, from the spleen, from thy liver, forth do we tear it out.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often transmitted under Atharvan/Angiras healing lineages; specific r̥ṣi attribution depends on anukramaṇī)
Devata: Bhaiṣajya/Apotropaic force against Yakṣma (the disease itself as adversary; healing power of mantra)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (predominant healing-meter; verse shows anuṣṭubh-like cadence)
Primary: vira
Secondary: shanta
