यद् वो अ॒ग्निरज॑हा॒देक॒मङ्गं॑ पितृलो॒कं ग॒मयं॑ जा॒तवे॑दाः । तद् व॑ ए॒तत् पुन॒रा प्या॑ययामि सा॒ङ्गाः स्व॒र्गे पि॒तरो॑ मादयध्वम्

IAST Transliteration

yád vo agnír ájahād ékam áṅgaṃ pitṛlokáṃ gamáyan jātávedāḥ | tád va etát púnar ā́ pyāyayāmi sā́ṅgāḥ svargé pitáro mādayadhvam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

What limb of you Agni, Jātavedas, conveying (you) to the Fathers’ world, left behind—this very thing I now again restore unto you. Whole-limbed in heaven, O Fathers, rejoice ye.

Translation

อวัยวะใดของท่านทั้งหลายที่อัคนี—ชาตเวทัส (Jātavedas) ผู้รู้กำเนิดทั้งปวง—เมื่อพาไปสู่โลกแห่งบรรพชนได้ละทิ้งไว้; สิ่งนั้นเอง บัดนี้ข้าพเจ้าขอทำให้กลับคืนและทำให้เต็มพร้อมอีกครั้งแก่ท่านทั้งหลาย. ขอบรรพชนทั้งหลายจงมีอวัยวะครบถ้วนในสวรรค์ และจงรื่นรมย์ยินดีเถิด.
