Sukta 5.54
न स जीयते मरुतो न हन्यते न स्रेधति न व्यथते न रिष्यति । नास्य राय उप दस्यन्ति नोतय ऋषिं वा यं राजानं वा सुषूदथ ॥
ná sá jī́yate maruto ná hányate ná srédhati ná vyáthate ná ríṣyati | nā́sya rā́ya úpa dasyanti nótaya ṛ́ṣiṁ vā yáṁ rā́jānaṁ vā suṣū́datha ||
హే మరుతులారా! మీరు ఎవరిని సంపూర్ణంగా విజయానికి నిలిపివేస్తారో, అతడు జయింపబడడు, హతుడుకాడు; అతడు తప్పడు, వణకడు, హానిపడడు. అతని రాయ్ (సంపద-పూర్ణత) తగ్గదు; అతని ఓతయః (సహాయాలు) అతనిని విడవవు—అతడు ఋషి అయినా రాజు అయినా, మీరు అతనిని సుషూదథ్ (పూర్ణ విజయం) వరకు నడిపిస్తారు.
