वीतिहोत्रा कृतद्वसू दशस्यन्तामृताय कम् । समूधो रोमशं हतो देवेषु कृणुतो दुवः ॥

Transliteration

vīti-hótrā kṛtádvasū daśasyántā amṛtā́ya kám | sám ū́dhaḥ romaśáṃ ható devéṣu kṛṇuto dúvaḥ ||

Translation

நன்கு வழிநடத்தப்படும் ஹோத்ர-இயக்கங்களைக் கொண்டவர்களே, நன்கு அமைந்த வசு (செல்வம்) உடையவர்களே! அமரத்துவத்திற்குக் கொண்டு செல்லும் ஆனந்தத்தைப் போற்றி—பலன் தரும் பால்-உதரை ஒழுங்குபடுத்தி, முட்களான (ரோமச) தடையை வீழ்த்தி—தேவர்களிடையே பயனுள்ள சேவை (துவஃ) யை நிறைவேற்றுங்கள்.
