य ऋते चिद्गास्पदेभ्यो दात्सखा नृभ्यः शचीवान् । ये अस्मिन्काममश्रियन् ॥
Transliteration
yá ṛté cid gā́spadébhyo dā́t sákhā nṛ́bhyaḥ śácī-vān | yé asmín kā́mam áśriyan ||
Translation
வழக்கமான அடிப்படைகள் இல்லையெனினும், செயல்திறன்-மேதை உடைய இந்திரன், வீர நர-சக்திகளுக்கு நண்பனாய் கதிர்களை (பசுக்கள்) தானமாக அளிக்கிறான்—இந்தக் காமம் (தெய்வ விருப்பம்) இல் அடைக்கலம் புகுந்தவர்களுக்கு.
