Sukta 6.3
दिवो न यस्य विधतो नवीनोद्वृषा रुक्ष ओषधीषु नूनोत् । घृणा न यो ध्रजसा पत्मना यन्ना रोदसी वसुना दं सुपत्नी ॥
divó na yásya vidható navī́not vṛ́ṣā rukṣá oṣádhīṣu nūnot | ghṛṇā́ na yó dhrajásā pátmanā yánn ā́ rodasī vásunā dám su-pátnī ||
யாருடைய எப்போதும் புதுமைமிக்க ஒளி, விதத (வழிபடுபவன்) என்பவனை—த்யௌ (வானம்) போலவே—புதுப்பிக்கிறதோ; அந்த வृषபன் (அக்னி), பிரகாசமாய், தன் வலிமையை ஓஷதிகள்/வனஸ்பதிகளில் ஊட்டுகின்றான். நெய் போன்ற உஷ்ண ஒளிபோல், த்ரஜஸ் (எரிதல்) உடன் வேகமாகச் செல்கிறான்; இரு ரோதஸீ (த்யாவா-பிருதிவி) யிடம், வசு (செல்வம்) உடன், தன் இல்லத்திற்குப் போல்—சு-பத்னீ (நன்கு இணைந்த) அந்த இரு சக்திகளிடமும்—அவன் வந்து சேர்கிறான்.
