Sukta 6.23
यद्वा दिवि पार्ये सुष्विमिन्द्र वृत्रहत्येऽवसि शूरसातौ । यद्वा दक्षस्य बिभ्युषो अबिभ्यदरन्धयः शर्धत इन्द्र दस्यून् ॥
yád vā diví pā́rye súṣvim indra vṛtra-hátye ’vási śūra-sā́tau | yád vā dákṣasya bibhyúṣo ábibhyad áraṇdhayaḥ śárdhata indra dásyūn ||
தூரத் திவ்ய உலகில், இந்திரனே, நீ வ்ருத்ர-வதத்திற்கும் வீர-வெற்றிக்குமான பலத்துடன் வளர்ந்தாயோ; அல்லது, தக்ஷம் (திறன்) கண்டு அஞ்சிய தஸ்யு கூட்டங்களை நீ அஞ்சாது அடக்கினாயோ—இந்திரனே, ஒளிக்கான போரில் நீயே எங்கள் துணை.
