मुषाय सूर्यं कवे चक्रमीशान ओजसा । वह शुष्णाय वधं कुत्सं वातस्याश्वैः ॥
muṣāyá sū́ryaṃ kave cakrám ī́śāna ójasā | váha śúṣṇāya vadháṃ kútsaṃ vā́tasya áśvaiḥ ||
ஓ கவி, சூரியனை மீண்டும் பறித்து கொண்டு வா; உன் ஆட்சி மற்றும் ஓஜஸால் சக்கரத்தை அடக்கி ஆள். சுஷ்ணனுக்கெதிராக வதப் பிரஹாரத்தை ஏற்று; வாதனின் அச்வங்களால் குத்ஸனை எடுத்துச் செல்—தெய்வீக, விரைந்த சக்திகள் இழந்த ஒளியை மீட்டுத் தரவும், ஒளியைச் சேமித்து மறைப்பவனைத் தாக்கவும்.
