त॒रणि॑र्वि॒श्वद॑र्शतो ज्योति॒ष्कृद॑सि सूर्य । विश्व॒मा भा॑सि रोचन

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 13.2.19

taraṇír viśvá-darśato jyótiṣ-kṛ́d asi sū́rya | viśvám ā́ bhāsi rocaná ||

A crosser art thou, all-seeing; a maker of light, O Sūrya: over all thou shinest, O Radiant One.

ஓ சூரியனே! நீ தாரணி (கடத்துபவன்), அனைத்தையும் காண்பவன்; நீ ஒளியை உருவாக்குபவன். ஓ ரோசன (ஒளிமிகு)! நீ உலகமெங்கும் பிரகாசிக்கிறாய்.
