Sukta 2

तं समा॑प्नोति जू॒तिभि॒स्ततो॒ नाप॑ चिकित्सति । तेना॒मृत॑स्य भ॒क्षं दे॒वानां॒ नाव॑ रुन्धते

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 13.2.15

táṃ samā́pnoti jūtíbhis táto nā́pa cikitsati | ténā́mṛtasya bhakṣáṃ devā́nāṃ nā́va rundhate ||

Him he attains with swift impulsions; thereafter he wavereth not at all. Thereby he hindereth not the Gods’ appointed portion of immortality for their enjoyment.

அவனை அவன் வேகமான உந்துதல்களால் அடைகிறான்; அதன் பின் சிறிதும் தளர்வதில்லை. இதனால் தேவர்களின் போகத்திற்காக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட அம்ருதப் பங்கை (பக்ஷம்) அவன் தடுக்கவில்லை.
