अग्निर्हि वाजिनं विशे ददाति विश्वचर्षणिः । अग्नी राये स्वाभुवं स प्रीतो याति वार्यमिषं स्तोतृभ्य आ भर ॥
agnír hí vājíṇaṃ viśé dádāti viśvácarṣaṇiḥ | agnī rāyé svā́bhuvaṃ sá prītó yāti vā́ryam íṣaṃ stotṛ́bhya ā́ bhara ||
Agni bowiem, wszechpodtrzymująca Moc, daje ludowi vāję, pełnię skutecznej siły. Agni, samoz istny w swym stawaniu się, porusza się, gdy jest zadowolony, ku rayi, pełni bytu, i przynosi śpiewakom wybrczą impulsję pożywienia.
