य इन्द्राय सुनवत्सोममद्य पचात्पक्तीरुत भृज्जाति धानाः । प्रति मनायोरुचथानि हर्यन्तस्मिन्दधद्वृषणं शुष्ममिन्द्रः ॥
yá indrā́ya sunávát sómam adyá pácāt paktī́r utá bhṛjjā́ti dhānā́ḥ | práti manāyór ucáthāni háryan tásmin dadhád vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ śúṣmam índraḥ ||
Ktokolwiek dzisiaj wyciska Somę dla Indry, i gotuje dojrzałości oraz piecze ziarna, ku jego dwom żarom umysłu Indra śpieszy w odpowiedzi na śpiewy, umieszczając w nim byczą siłę, zwycięską potęgę.
