Sukta 10.16
शृतं यदा करसि जातवेदोऽथेमेनं परि दत्तात्पितृभ्यः । यदा गच्छात्यसुनीतिमेतामथा देवानां वशनीर्भवाति ॥
śṛtáṃ yadā́ kárasi jā́tavedo áthem enaṃ pári dattāt pitṛ́bhyaḥ | yadā́ gácchāty ásunītim etā́m áthā devā́nāṃ vaśanī́r bhavāti ||
Gdy, o Dżatawedasie, dojrzysz go do gotowości, wtedy oddaj go w pełni pod opiekę Ojców. Gdy podąża tą drogą tchnienia życia, wtedy staje się tym, kto może być prowadzony przez harmonijną wolę bogów.
