यथा॒ मम॒ स्मरा॑द॒सौ नामुष्या॒हं क॒दा च॒न। देवाः॒ प्र हि॑णुत स्म॒रम॒सौ मामनु॑ शोचतु
yáthā máma smarād asáu ná amúṣya aháṃ kadā́ cana | devā́ḥ prá hiṇuta smarám asáu mām ánu śocatu
So may yonder one remember me—and never that other—at any time at all. O Gods, drive forth Smara: let yonder one burn after me.
Niech tamten pamięta o mnie, a nigdy ten inny, w jakimkolwiek czasie. O bogowie, wypędźcie Smarę: niech tamten płonie za mną.
Rishi: Atharvanic/anonymous
Devata: Smara (Kāma) as coercive memory; Gods as dispatchers
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh-like
Primary: shringara
Secondary: raudra
