राज्ञो नु ते वरुणस्य व्रतानि बृहद्गभीरं तव सोम धाम । शुचिष्ट्वमसि प्रियो न मित्रो दक्षाय्यो अर्यमेवासि सोम ॥

rājño nú te váruṇasya vratā́ni bṛhád gabhīráṃ táva soma dhā́ma | śucís tvám asi priyó na mitró dakṣā́yyo aryámā-iva asi soma ||

ଏବେ ତୁମର ହେଉଛି ରାଜା ବରୁଣଙ୍କ ଋତ-ବ୍ରତମାନ—ସତ୍ୟର ନିୟମ; ବିଶାଳ ଓ ଗଭୀର ଅଟେ ତୁମ ଧାମ, ହେ ସୋମ। ତୁମେ ଅତିଶୁଚି; ମିତ୍ର ପରି ପ୍ରିୟ; ଦକ୍ଷତାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ—ଅର୍ୟମନ ପରି—ହେ ସୋମ।
