Sukta 2.34
द्यावो न स्तृभिश्चितयन्त खादिनो व्यभ्रिया न द्युतयन्त वृष्टयः । रुद्रो यद्वो मरुतो रुक्मवक्षसो वृषाजनि पृश्न्याः शुक्र ऊधनि ॥
dyā́vo ná stṛ́bhiś citayanta khādíno vy-abhriyā́ ná dyutayanta vṛṣṭáyaḥ | rudró yád vo maruto rukma-vakṣaso vṛ́ṣā́jani pṛ́śnyāḥ śukrá ū́dhani ||
ସ୍ତମ୍ଭସହିତ ଦ୍ୟାଵା ପରି ସେମାନେ ନିଜ ବଳକୁ ଗଢ଼ି ଉଠାନ୍ତି; ଛିଟିଯାଇଥିବା ମେଘମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ବର୍ଷାମାନେ ଚମକି ଉଠନ୍ତି। ହେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ-ବକ୍ଷ ମରୁତମାନେ, ଯେତେବେଳେ ରୁଦ୍ର—ବୃଷଭ—ପୃଶ୍ନିର ଦୀପ୍ତ ଊଧରରେ ତୁମମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦେଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ତୁମମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ବଳର ଦୀପ୍ତିମୟ ରସ ସିଞ୍ଚିଦେଲେ।
