Sukta 1.147
बोधा मे अस्य वचसो यविष्ठ मंहिष्ठस्य प्रभृतस्य स्वधावः । पीयति त्वो अनु त्वो गृणाति वन्दारुस्ते तन्वं वन्दे अग्ने ॥
bódhā me asyá vácaso yaviṣṭha maṃhíṣṭhasya prá-bhṛtasya svadhāvaḥ | pī́yati tvo ánu tvo gṛṇāti vandā́rus te tánvaṃ vande agne ||
ହେ ଯବିଷ୍ଠ (ସବୁଠାରୁ ଯୁବ) ଅଗ୍ନି, ହେ ସ୍ୱଧାବାନ୍ (ସ୍ୱଶକ୍ତିସମ୍ପନ୍ନ), ମହତ୍ତମ ପ୍ରଚୁରତାରୁ ପ୍ରବୃତ୍ତ ଏହି ମୋର ବଚନକୁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୋଇ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର। ଉପାସକ ତୁମକୁ ପାନ କରେ, ତୁମକୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରେ, ତୁମ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗାଏ; ହେ ଅଗ୍ନି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ ନିଜ ତନୁକୁ ବନ୍ଦନ କରେ।
