एतच्छ्रुत्वा तु कौशल्या चिरकालाभिकाङ्क्षितम्।हर्षबाष्पकलं वाक्यमिदं राममभाषत।।2.4.38।।
etac chrutvā tu kauśalyā cirakālābhikāṅkṣitam | harṣa-bāṣpa-kalaṃ vākyam idaṃ rāmam abhāṣata || 2.4.38 ||
ଏହା ଶୁଣି କୌଶଲ୍ୟା, ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳ ଧରି ଆକାଙ୍କ୍ଷିତ ସୁସମ୍ବାଦ ପାଇ, ହର୍ଷାଶ୍ରୁରେ ଅସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଥିବା ମଧୁର ବାଣୀରେ ରାମଙ୍କୁ ଏହିପରି କହିଲେ।
