Sukta 17
cákṣur asi cákṣur me dāḥ svā́hā
Thou art sight: bestow on me sight. Svāhā!
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (specific ṛṣi attribution varies by anukramaṇī; not recoverable from the single-verse input alone).
Devata: Cákṣus (Sight) as a personified vital faculty; implicitly supported by healing powers (bhaiṣajya).
Chandas: Not metrically diagnostic from this short prose-like formula; functions as a yajus-style healing utterance.
Primary: shanta
Secondary: adbhuta
