ଏହି ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଅଥର୍ବଣିକ ସୂକ୍ତଟି ଦିଗମୁଖୀ ଅପତ୍ରାସକ (ରକ୍ଷାମନ୍ତ୍ର) ଭାବରେ ଶତ୍ରୁତାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଆକ୍ରମଣ (ଅଭିଦାସ) କୁ ଚାରିଦିଗରେ ନିୟୋଜିତ କରି, ଆକାଂକ୍ଷାପରାୟଣ ଷଡ଼ଯନ୍ତ୍ରକାରୀ (ମାଘାୟବଃ—“ଲାଭଲୋଭୀ ଚକ୍ରାନ୍ତକାରୀ”) ମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି/ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଦୂରକୁ ଫେରାଇ ଦିଏ। ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଦିଗକୁ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ପାଳକଙ୍କ ସହ ଯୋଡ଼ି (ଯଥା ପୂର୍ବେ ଅଗ୍ନି, ମଧ୍ୟାକାଶ/ବାୟୁମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ବାୟୁ, ଉତ୍ତରେ ସପ୍ତ ଋଷିଙ୍କ ସହ ବିଶ୍ୱକର୍ମା), ଏହା ଏକ ରିତୁଆଲିକ ସୀମାରେଖା ଗଢ଼େ, ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ଆକ୍ରମଣକୁ ଅନ୍ୟଦିଗକୁ ଘୁରାଇ, ନିଷ୍ପ୍ରଭ କରାଯାଏ, କିମ୍ବା ଉଚ୍ଚତର ବ୍ରହ୍ମାଣ୍ଡୀୟ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରକଙ୍କ ହାତକୁ “ସମର୍ପିତ” କରାଯାଏ।

ସୁରକ୍ଷାରେ: ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗରୁ ତୋତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରି ଅନର୍ଥ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନି—ବସୁବନ୍ତ (ଧନବାନ)ଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଆନ୍ତୁ।

ଅନ୍ତରିକ୍ଷବଳରେ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ବାୟୁଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ କରୁନ୍ତୁ; ଲାଭଲୋଭୀ ଷଡ଼ଯନ୍ତ୍ରକାରୀମାନେ—ଏହି ଦିଗରୁ ହେଉଥିବା ବୈରୀ ଆକ୍ରମଣର କ୍ରିୟାରୁ ଦୂରେ ଯାଆନ୍ତୁ।
