उ॒च्चा पत॑न्तमरु॒णं सु॑प॒र्णं मध्ये॑ दि॒वस्त॒रणिं॒ भ्राज॑मानम्। पश्या॑म त्वा सवि॒तारं॒ यमा॒हुरज॑स्रं॒ ज्योति॒र्यदवि॑न्द॒दत्त्रिः॑
uccā́ pátantam aruṇáṃ supárṇaṃ mádhye divás taraṇíṃ bhrā́jamānam | páśyām tvā savitā́raṃ yám āhúr ájasraṃ jyótir yád avíndad dáttriḥ
Aloft, flying, ruddy, fair-winged, in mid-heaven the shining Crosser—may I behold thee, Savitar, whom men call the unceasing Light, which Dattri found.
ଉଚ୍ଚରେ ଉଡୁଥିବା, ଅରୁଣ (ଲାଲିମାୟୁକ୍ତ), ସୁପର୍ଣ୍ଣ (ସୁନ୍ଦର ପକ୍ଷବାନ), ମଧ୍ୟ ଦିବିରେ ପ୍ରଭାସ୍ୱର ତରଣି (ପାର କରାଇବାଳା)—ହେ ସବିତା, ମୁଁ ତୁମକୁ ଦର୍ଶନ କରୁ; ଯାହାକୁ ଲୋକେ ଅଜସ୍ର ଜ୍ୟୋତି (ଅବିରତ ପ୍ରକାଶ) ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି, ସେଇ ଜ୍ୟୋତିକୁ ଦତ୍ତ୍ରି ଖୋଜି (ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରି)ଥିଲେ।
