The Sanctity of the Kṛṣṇagaṅgā Pilgrimage-Ford and the Account of the Brahmin Vasu’s Daughter
Varāha (default for this fragmentary excerpt)
It preserves yogic-ascetic vocabulary (trikāladarśin, jñānacakṣus, siddhatva) that overlaps with broader Indic soteriological discourse, helping map Purāṇic participation in ascetic thought.
Only an āśrama (hermitage) is mentioned generically; no named geographic site appears.
It valorizes purity (śuddhātmā) and insight (jñānacakṣus) as conditions associated with spiritual accomplishment (siddhatva).
