तयोरिदमवच्छवस्तिग्मा दिद्युन्मघोनोः । प्रति द्रुणा गभस्त्योर्गवां वृत्रघ्न एषते ॥

Transliteration

táyor íd ámavac chávas tigmā́ didyún maghónoḥ | práti druṇā́ gabhástyor gávāṃ vṛtrághn éṣate ||

Translation

Daripada kedua-duanya inilah daya yang penuh kekuatan: tajam kilat cahaya para pemurah itu. Ke arah kandang kayu, di tangan mereka, ia mendesak; kuasa pembunuh Vṛtra merangsek mencari lembu-lembu—menuju sinar-sinar pengetahuan yang tertahan dalam kurungan gelap—agar cahaya dimenangi.
