Sukta 1.84
ता अस्य नमसा सहः सपर्यन्ति प्रचेतसः । व्रतान्यस्य सश्चिरे पुरूणि पूर्वचित्तये वस्वीरनु स्वराज्यम् ॥
tā́ asya nám asā sáhaḥ saparyánti prá-cetasaḥ | vratā́ny asya saścire purū́ṇi pū́rva-cittaye vásvīr ánu sva-rā́jyam ||
Dengan pemujaan dan kekuatan, mereka berkhidmat kepada-Nya—yang terang dalam kesedaran. Mereka menuruti banyak vrata (tatanan-sumpah) kerja-Nya, demi kesedaran purba; kaya dengan kelimpahan, menurut swarājya-Nya (kedaulatan-diri).
