Depart thou forth; gather up thy person entire: let not thy limbs be left asunder, nor thy body at all. Let thy mind, duly set, enter in full succession; where thou findest thy pleasure in Earth, thither go.
Rishi: Traditionally connected with Yama-funeral corpus (AV 18); specific r̥ṣi attribution varies by anukramaṇī tradition
Devata: Preta / the departed person; implicitly Yama and Bhūmi as destination powers
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (probable; AV 18 frequently uses triṣṭubh/jagatī in funeral hymns—confirm by pada count in critical edition)
Primary: bhayankara
Secondary: shanta
