शतपवित्राः स्वधया मदन्तीर्देवीर्देवानामपि यन्ति पाथः । ता इन्द्रस्य न मिनन्ति व्रतानि सिन्धुभ्यो हव्यं घृतवज्जुहोत ॥

Transliteration

śatá-pavitrāḥ svadháyā mádantīr devī́r devā́nām ápi yanti pā́thaḥ | tā́ índrasya ná minanti vratā́ni síndhubhyo havyaṃ ghṛtávaj juhota ||

Translation

शतपवित्रा (शंभर पवित्र करणाऱ्या धारांनी युक्त) देव्या, स्वधया (स्वाभाविक शक्तीने) मदन्ती, देवांच्या पथाने चालतात. त्या इंद्राच्या व्रतांना (ऋत-नियमांना) भंग करत नाहीत. सिन्धूंना—नद्यांना—घृतवत् (घृतसमृद्ध) हवि अर्पण करा.
