किं नो अस्य द्रविणं कद्ध रत्नं वि नो वोचो जातवेदश्चिकित्वान् । गुहाध्वनः परमं यन्नो अस्य रेकु पदं न निदाना अगन्म ॥
kíṃ no asyá dráviṇaṃ kád dha rátnam ví no voco jātavedas cikitvā́n | guhā́dhvanaḥ paramáṃ yán no asyá réku padáṃ ná nidānā́ áganma ||
आमच्यासाठी त्याचे द्रविण (खरे धन) काय आहे, आणि खरोखर त्याचे रत्न काय आहे? हे जातवेदस्, हे चिकीत्त्वान् (जाणणाऱ्या), आम्हाला स्पष्ट सांग. कारण आम्ही निंदक-वादकरी नव्हे; शोधक होऊन, मार्गाच्या गुहेत लपलेले त्याचे परम पद—त्याचे तेजस्वी स्थान—तेथे आलो आहोत.
