Sukta 4.4
ऊर्ध्वो भव प्रति विध्याध्यस्मदाविष्कृणुष्व दैव्यान्यग्ने । अव स्थिरा तनुहि यातुजूनां जामिमजामिं प्र मृणीहि शत्रून् ॥
ūrdhvó bhava práti vidhyā́dhy asmád āvíṣ kṛṇuṣva daívyāny agne | áva sthirā́ tanuhí yātu-jū́nāṃ jāmím ajā́miṃ prá mṛṇīhi śátrūn ||
हे अग्ने, ऊर्ध्व उभा राहा आणि प्रत्याघात कर; आमच्यासाठी दैवी शक्ती प्रकट कर. यातु-बलांच्या हालचाली खाली पाडून दृढपणे पसरव; शत्रूंना—ते जामि (स्वजनासारखे) असोत वा अजामि (परके)—पूर्णतः चुरडून टाक.
