Sukta 2.18
आ द्वाभ्यां हरिभ्यामिन्द्र याह्या चतुर्भिरा षड्भिर्हूयमानः । आष्टाभिर्दशभिः सोमपेयमयं सुतः सुमख मा मृधस्कः ॥
ā́ dvā́bhyāṃ háribhyām indra yā́hy ā́ catúrbhir ā́ ṣáḍbhir hū́yamānaḥ | ā́ṣṭā́bhir dáśabhiḥ soma-péyam ayáṃ sutáḥ sumakha mā́ mṛ́dhaskaḥ ||
हे इंद्रा, दोन हरिंसह ये; चारांसह ये, सहांसह—आह्वानित होत. आठांसह, दहांसह सोमपानासाठी ये; येथे हा सुत (पिळलेला) सोम आहे. हे सुमख—यज्ञात शोभणाऱ्या—आमच्यात हानी/आघात करणारा होऊ नकोस.
