Sukta 2.18
हरी नु कं रथ इन्द्रस्य योजमायै सूक्तेन वचसा नवेन । मो षु त्वामत्र बहवो हि विप्रा नि रीरमन्यजमानासो अन्ये ॥
harī́ nú kaṃ́ rathá índrasya yojam ā́yai sū́ktena vácasā návena | mó ṣú tvām átra bahávo hí viprā́ ní rīraman anyáyajamānāso anyé ||
इंद्राचे दोन हरि (तांबूस वर्णाचे अश्व) त्याच्या आगमनासाठी मी निश्चयाने त्याच्या रथाला जोडतो—नव्या, सुबद्ध वचनयुक्त सूक्ताने. येथे अनेक विप्र तुला भरकटवू नयेत; इतर यजमान, इतर—आपल्या हाकेकडे तुला ओढू पाहतात.
