अभी ष्वर्यः पौंस्यैर्भवेम द्यौर्न भूमिं गिरयो नाज्रान् । ता नो विश्वानि जरिता चिकेत परातरं सु निॠतिर्जिहीताम् ॥

Transliteration

abhī ṣvàryaḥ paúṃsyair bhavema dyaúr na bhū́miṃ giráyo nā́jrān | tā́ no víśvāni jaritā́ ciketa parā́taraṃ sú níḥṛ́tir jihītām ||

Translation

आर्य (श्रेष्ठ) पौरुष-बलांनी आम्ही विजयी होऊ—द्यौःसारखे दृढ, पृथ्वीसारखे विस्तीर्ण, पर्वतांसारखे अचल. जरीता (अंतर्द्रष्टा/स्तोत्रकर्ता) ही सर्व शुभ गती आमच्यासाठी नीट ओळखो; आणि निॠति (विघटन व दुर्दैवाची शक्ती) आमच्यापासून फार दूर निघून जावो.
