Transliteration
kavī nó mitrā́váruṇā tuvijā́tā urukṣáyā | dákṣaṃ dadhāte apásam ||
Translation
कवि—ते दोघे मित्र-वरुण, तुविजात (बहु-जात/विस्तृत-उत्पन्न) आणि उरुक्षय (विशाल आश्रय-धाम असलेले)—आमच्यात अपस् (कर्म) सिद्धीसाठी दक्ष (विवेकपूर्ण घडणी-शक्ती) स्थापोत.
