Sukta 1.116
तिस्रः क्षपस्त्रिरहातिव्रजद्भिर्नासत्या भुज्युमूहथुः पतंगैः । समुद्रस्य धन्वन्नार्द्रस्य पारे त्रिभी रथैः शतपद्भिः षळश्वैः ॥
tísraḥ kṣápaḥ trír áhā ativrájadbhir nā́satyā bhujyúm ūhathuḥ pataṅgáiḥ | samudrásya dhánvann ārdrásya pā́re tribhír ráthaiḥ śatápatadbhiḥ ṣáḷaśvaiḥ ||
हे नासत्यौ! तीन रात्रि आणि तीन दिवस, वेगाने पुढे धावत, तुम्ही भुज्युला पंखयुक्त वाहकांनी नेले. समुद्राच्या ओसाड विस्तारास पार करून, आर्द्र लोकाच्या दूर तीरापर्यंत—तीन रथांनी, शतपद (शंभर पावले) असलेल्या, षळश्व (सहा अश्व) युक्त—तुम्ही त्याला दीर्घ पार घडविला. तसेच आमची चेतनाही दीर्घ अंधाराच्या पलीकडे वाहून न्या.
