Alarm at Chitrakūṭa: Lakṣmaṇa sights the approaching army
स तं सैन्यसमुद्धूतं शब्दं शुश्राव राघवः ।
तां श्च विप्रद्रुतान्सर्वान्यूथपानन्ववैक्षत ॥५॥
sa taṃ sainya-samuddhūtaṃ śabdaṃ śuśrāva rāghavaḥ |
tāṃś ca vipradrutān sarvān yūthapān anvavaikṣata ||5||
സൈന്യത്തിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന ആ ഘോഷം രാഘവൻ കേട്ടു; അതുപോലെ അതിവേഗം പാഞ്ഞോടുന്ന ആ എല്ലാ കൂട്ടനേതാക്കളെയും അവൻ കണ്ടു.
