Sukta 4
सोऽर्य॒मा स वरु॑णः॒ स रु॒द्रः स म॑हादे॒वः। र॒श्मिभि॒र्नभ॒ आभृ॑तं महे॒न्द्र ए॒त्यावृ॑तः
só’ryamā́ sá váruṇaḥ sá rudráḥ sá mahādeváḥ | raśmíbhir nábha ā́bhṛtaṃ mahéndra ety ā́vṛtaḥ
He is Aryaman, he Varuṇa; he Rudra, he the Great God. With rays the firmament is borne and filled: great Indra goeth on, encompassed round about.
അവൻ അర్యമാവും അവൻ വരുണനും; അവൻ രുദ്രനും അവൻ മഹാദേവനും. കിരണങ്ങളാൽ നഭസ് ധരിക്കപ്പെടുകയും നിറയുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; മഹേന്ദ്രൻ സർവ്വദിക്കുകളിലും ആവൃതനായി മുന്നേറുന്നു.
