Consenting, O most Angiras-like, accept these oblations in due sequence; O Agni, lead the sacrifice according to the seasons/ṛta.
Agni is invoked as ‘aṅgirastama’—most of the Angiras quality: the power that discovers hidden light and brings it out by inner fire. The offerings are to be taken ‘ānuṣak’—in right succession: spiritual growth is sequential integration, not scattered effort. ‘Naya ṛtuthā’ asks Agni to lead the whole inner yajña according to ṛta—right law, right rhythm, right stage.
Transformation requires consent, right order, and right timing; the inner guide leads step by step according to a deeper law, unveiling hidden light.
right timing, guidance, Angiras light-recovery, ordered practice
Angiras symbolism strongly present: discovery of light through fire—central to many early Vedic lineages.
The seer emphasizes disciplined sequence and ṛta-guided leadership—key for stable inner realization rather than episodic experiences.
Leads the sacrificial journey and maintains the order of offerings in harmony with ṛta.
Guiding flame that reveals concealed knowledge and conducts practice stage by stage.
Guidance verse within an Agni sequence; applicable to ordering offerings in a rite

4×8 (approx.)
Directive and processional; the ‘ānuṣak’ and ‘naya’ give a marching clarity.
Supports disciplined continuity; evokes trust in inner guidance and right pacing.
Guidance verse: Agni is asked to conduct the rite in correct order and timing; relevant to structured multi-offering ceremonies.
When multiple offerings are made in sequence; also at transitions in the ritual flow
Request Agni to accept offerings in order and lead rite according to ṛta/ṛtu
Use as a ‘practice management’ mantra: before a sadhana session, commit to a clear sequence (breath–chant–silence–offering) and ask for right pacing.
aṅgiras-tama evokes the Angiras mythos of hidden light/cows recovered by fire and chant—psychologically, the force that breaks obscurity and releases illuminations. ānuṣak stresses sequential integrity: inner practice proceeds by ordered stages. √nī ‘lead’ makes Agni the guide of the whole yajña. ṛtu-thā anchors the process in right rhythm (ṛta expressed as timing).
ṛta as rhythm/order, staged inner discipline (ānuṣak), Angiras motif: recovery of light/knowledge
Explicit: ṛtuthā—Agni as executor of ṛta in time and process.
Right sequence prevents self-deception; satya is stabilized by ordered practice.
Unveiling hidden light through Angiras fire; evolution by stages.
Yoga of works (karma-yoga) in Vedic form: right order + inner guide = effective transformation.
explicit seasonal rhythm (ṛtu)
Seasons = stages of growth; sequence = progressive purification; fire = guiding will.
Surrender to right rhythm: let practice unfold stepwise under inner guidance.
svadhisthana
Counted breathing (e.g., 4-4-6) to embody ‘ānuṣak’ (sequence)
Ordered flow; less impulsive striving, more lawful progression.
Choose one small, repeatable sequence daily. Offer each step to Agni, asking him to ‘lead according to ṛta’—do not skip ahead for peak experiences.
Rigvedic accents; keep ‘ānuṣak’ distinct and lightly stressed as a process marker.
Two clear halves: juṣāṇo…ānuṣak || agne yajñaṃ naya ṛtuthā. Let the second half be slightly more directive.
(aṅgirastama): nasal ṅ + hard g; do not drop the nasal, (ānuṣak): long ā; retroflex ṣ; final k audible, (ṛtuthā): clear ṛ; aspirated thā with long ā
Even, guiding tone—like giving steady instructions to the mind.
