ग्रावा वदन्नप रक्षांसि सेधतु दुष्ष्वप्न्यं निॠतिं विश्वमत्रिणम् । आदित्यं शर्म मरुतामशीमहि तद्देवानामवो अद्या वृणीमहे ॥
grā́vā vádann ápa rákṣāṃsi sedhatu duṣṣvápnyaṃ níṛtiṃ víśvam atríṇam | ādityáṃ śárma marútām aśīmahi tád devānām ávo adyā́ vṛṇīmahe ||
ຂໍໃຫ້ຫີນບີບສັກ, ເມື່ອສັ່ນສຽງອອກ, ໄລ່ພາສະໜາດທີ່ເປັນສັດຕູອອກໄປ; ຂໍໃຫ້ມັນຂັບໄລ່ຄວາມຝັນຮ້າຍ, ພະນິຣະຕິ, ແລະ ທຸກພະລັງທີ່ກືນກິນ. ພວກເຮົາຂໍບັນລຸຄວາມສະຫງົບຂອງພະອາທິຕະຍະ ແລະ ຄວາມສຸກທີ່ເປັນການປົກປ້ອງຂອງພະມາຣຸດ. ການປົກປ້ອງນັ້ນຂອງພະເຈົ້າທັງຫຼາຍ ພວກເຮົາເລືອກໃນວັນນີ້.
