Sukta 9.86
स भन्दना उदियर्ति प्रजावतीर्विश्वायुर्विश्वाः सुभरा अहर्दिवि । ब्रह्म प्रजावद्रयिमश्वपस्त्यं पीत इन्दविन्द्रमस्मभ्यं याचतात् ॥
sá bhandánā úd iyarti prajā́vatīr viśvā́yur víśvāḥ subhárā́ ahardiví | bráhma prajā́vad rayím aśvápastyaṃ pītá indav índram asmábhyaṃ yācatāt ||
ಅವನು ಆನಂದಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲೇಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ—ಪ್ರಜಾವತೀ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಯು, ಮತ್ತು ಅಹರ್ದಿವಿ ಸುಭರಾಃ—ಹಗಲು-ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸುಫಲಧಾರಿಣೀ—ಆಗುವಂತೆ. ಇಂದುವನ್ನು ಪಾನಮಾಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವನು ಇಂದ್ರನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿ, ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಜೆಯೊಡನೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ—ಮಂತ್ರಶಕ್ತಿಯ ವಾಕ್ಯ—ಮತ್ತು ರಯಿ—ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ—ಅಶ್ವಪಸ್ತ್ಯಂ, ಯಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ವೇಗದ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತರುವುದನ್ನು—ದಾನಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಯಾಚಿಸಲಿ.
