Sukta 9.80
एन्द्रस्य कुक्षा पवते मदिन्तम ऊर्जं वसानः श्रवसे सुमङ्गलः । प्रत्यङ्स विश्वा भुवनाभि पप्रथे क्रीळन्हरिरत्यः स्यन्दते वृषा ॥
ā́ índrasya kukṣā́ pavate madíntama ūrjáṃ vásānaḥ śrávase su-maṅgalaḥ | pratyáṅ sá viśvā́ bhúvanābhi paprathe krīḷán hárir átyaḥ syandate vṛ́ṣā ||
ಇಂದ್ರನ ಕುಕ್ಷಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮದಿರ, ಪರಮಾನಂದಕರ ಸೋಮನು ಹರಿದು ಸೇರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಊರ್ಜೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ಶ್ರವಸ್ (ಕೀರ್ತಿ)ಗಾಗಿ ಸುಮಂಗಲನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅಂತರ್ಮುಖನಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಭುವನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಹರಿತ (ತಾಮ್ರವರ್ಣ) ಅಶ್ವನು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಧಾವಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ—ವೃಷಭಸ್ವರೂಪ ಈ ಧಾರೆ ಸ್ಯಂದಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
