Sukta 5.22
अग्ने चिकिद्ध्यस्य न इदं वचः सहस्य । तं त्वा सुशिप्र दम्पते स्तोमैर्वर्धन्त्यत्रयो गीर्भिः शुम्भन्त्यत्रयः ॥
ágne cikiddhy àsyá na idáṁ vácaḥ sahasya | táṁ tvā suśipra dampate stómair vardhanty átrayo gī́rbhiḥ śumbhanty átrayaḥ ||
ಹೇ ಅಗ್ನೇ, ಹೇ ಸಹಸ್ಯ (ಬಲವಂತ), ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ವಚನವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸು. ಹೇ ಸುಶಿಪ್ರ, ಹೇ ದಂಪತಿ (ಗೃಹಪತಿ), ಅತ್ರಿಗಳು ಸ್ತೋಮಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ಗೀರುಗಳಿಂದ ಅತ್ರಿಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಜ್ವಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
