असूत पूर्वो वृषभो ज्यायानिमा अस्य शुरुधः सन्ति पूर्वीः । दिवो नपाता विदथस्य धीभिः क्षत्रं राजाना प्रदिवो दधाथे ॥
ásūta pū́rvo vṛṣabhó jyā́yān imā́ asya śurúdhaḥ santi pūrvī́ḥ | dívo napātā vidáthasya dhībhíḥ kṣatráṁ rājānā prádivo dadhāthe ||
ಮೊದಲು ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಜ್ಯೇಷ್ಠ ವೃಷಭನು ಜನಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನ ಬಲದ ಈ ಅನೇಕ ಧಾರೆಗಳು ಆದ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ. ಹೇ ದಿವಿಯ ನಪಾತರಾದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ರಾಜರೇ, ಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲಿ ಧೀ-ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ನೀವು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ದಿವಿಯಿಂದ ಉದ್ಭವಿಸುವ ಕ್ಷತ್ರ—ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಬಲವನ್ನು—ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
