Sukta 2.34
द्यावो न स्तृभिश्चितयन्त खादिनो व्यभ्रिया न द्युतयन्त वृष्टयः । रुद्रो यद्वो मरुतो रुक्मवक्षसो वृषाजनि पृश्न्याः शुक्र ऊधनि ॥
dyā́vo ná stṛ́bhiś citayanta khādíno vy-abhriyā́ ná dyutayanta vṛṣṭáyaḥ | rudró yád vo maruto rukma-vakṣaso vṛ́ṣā́jani pṛ́śnyāḥ śukrá ū́dhani ||
ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳೊಡನೆ ದ್ಯಾವೆಯೇನೋ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಚದುರಿದ ಮೇಘಗಳಂತೆ ಮಳೆಗಳು ಮಿಂಚುತ್ತವೆ. ಹೇ ಸುವರ್ಣ-ವಕ್ಷಸ್ಥಲ ಮರುತಗಳೇ, ರುದ್ರನು—ವೃಷಭನು—ಪೃಶ್ನಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನ ಉದರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಜನ್ಮ ನೀಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಬಲದ ದೀಪ್ತ ರಸವನ್ನು ಸುರಿದನು.
